The federal government’s hope of vaccinating the bulk of the population by the end of the year is being threatened by large numbers of people aged between 50 and 70 years old who are hedging their bets on vaccines, electing to delay vaccination with AstraZeneca in the hope they can receive a Pfizer or Moderna shot later.

The acting Israeli Ambassador to Australia, Jonathan Peled, says there is an "obsession" and an "anti-Israeli wave" which is based on a lot of disinformation.
"People who are really ignorant and don't know the facts obviously like to side with the weaker side," Mr Peled told Sky News.
He said those people are "not getting the story true".

Two individuals have been questioned by investigators in relation to the Palisades Fire burning in LA County, Fire Captain Erik Scott said on Sunday, May 16.
